Within the framework of UNDP funded “MDG Statistics” Project have been organized two training workshops on «Statistical data analysis - SDA» in Samarkand and Bukhara during the period of May 20-27, 2009. The SDA is intended to train mid-level government officials (policy advisors) in application of modern methodologies and instruments of applied statistics, as well as to improve their skills on evidence-based policy-advice....

On April 22-24, 2009 at the hotel "Plaza Lux" in Andijan has been conducted regional training workshop on «Statistical data analysis - SDA» for key specialists of regional branches of the Ministry of Economy and the State Committee on Statistics in Ferghana Valley, as well as for the mid-level policy advisors of local authorities. This event has been organized within the framework “MDG Statistics” project more.

Within the framework of UNDP funded “Statistical capacity building for Millennium Development Goals monitoring and reporting” project has been published new publication namely “MDG Toolkit”, aimed at serving a handbook and an illustrative instrument for practitioners and specialists of line ministries and agencies which are involved in the process of monitoring and evaluation of MDGs achievement in Uzbekistan.
